Ryan`s Place Restaurant in Visalia

We stopped in to try this place out, it was a Wednesday night and not very busy at all. The food was good and the service was friendly. We had the Ryan’s eggs Benedict and the El Capitan omelet they where both really good. 👍👍 We would have definitely given 5 stars but it took a really long time to just get our drinks. Think they where short handed or just busy doing something else

Always friendly and the type of place that remembers your name. Great quality food and ample portions. Usually a big enough plate to share between two people. The food comes out and just like you ordered it. Not one complaint or subpar visit.

Need pot pie and enjoy them with pies and coffee besides hot tea and service of other drinks for me and my love ones. Like father and mother.

I really like this place. It is always clean, staff super friendly & helpful, prices reasonable, and great menu choices. Their chicken fried steak & gravy and the meatloaf are top notch. The only place I can get Portuguese beans - which are very good here. My one complaint is for the side veggie with dinner.

First time we went paid almost 5 dollars for a dinner salad and just a few pieces of lettuce was pretty much thrown on the plate... gave it another try and the same thing plus my fries were over cooked and fish was very little so thin...for a 14 dollar plate, totally unacceptable. Not to mention also that our waitress was intoxicated...we smelled the alcohol from her breath🙄....

First time here, it was great. Pictures of 30's, 40's. Yes, a lot of senior's do go there, but it's a great, quiet place to be. Like a Sizzler but without the salad bar. Really good food too.

I don't understand why an order was being able to be placed through Postmates to have a driver go to pick up the order yet the business is closed? clarifying hours and days of operation would be beneficial all the way around to everybody involved thank you!

Friendly service and good food. The Pacheco pass sandwich was good! The ranch for dipping was so tasty!

Great service, good food, and nice atmosphere.

We go here for breakfast a lot. We split the Ham & Cheese omelet for 3 of us and they don't charge to split. Service is fantastic and it's always clean. It can get cold sometimes, so bring a sweater if you need to. The prices are about the same as others in town, but you get more.

When I miss a good old fashioned coffee house restaurant I go to Ryan's. Great variety of food and wonderful pies. Don't forget to check out their giant cinnamon buns. The staff is so friendly and clientele are down to earth nice. Love the huge salads and their stuffed bell peppers in season. Great senior mea and s too.

Love this place, food is great, and it has a good menu to accommodate everyone. Have been going here since i was a kid. Misty is amazing, very nice, and always gets everything done timely and perfectly.

We have been going here about once a week for 3 years. There's never much of a wait, the food is always consistently of quality, and the staff is friendly and competent. Ownership is local and awesome - they really care about their customers. Traditional diner experience with enough updates to not feel depressing or out of touch like a lot of diners. They even have an updated portion of the menu with things like avocado toast and Kodiak cakes (protein pancakes). It's nice to see an establishment that really cares about what they do and the local community.

We go there often. It's a big clean restaurant with lots of seating. They have delicious food . And great specials. They make their own pies. The waitresses are nice and work fast to get your order. It's a very great restaurant .

Busy Friday evening. Service was a little slow, but the food was worth the wait. My wife and I shared an order of spaghetti and meat sauce. We had it with a delicious cup of clam chowder with clam in every bite. We visit here almost every time we are in Visalia for their home cooked meals,

Better but the prices keep going up.

The atmosphere here is very warm and welcoming. From staff to the regulars, you can tell evetyone is familiar and fun. However, the breakfast menu could be a bit better. My sausages were a bit burned. And i wish my toast white toast instead of whole wheat, but i do see the angle they were going with. But overall my experience was well and will comeback for dinner another day to update.

The food is good and consistent. The pies are the best.

This place has a good selection of comfort food. However they do not have the take out option running efficiently. We placed an order prior to going and was told it would be ready in 20 mins.... an hour later no food.

The food is constantly fresh and delicious, staff members gives fantastic service. I liked the cleanliness and character. Highly recommended.

Food was great. Would have liked to have been tended to more we waited a while for coffee refill and coffee seamed watered down very light tasted almost like tea.

Oh my the best place to Eat.

This restaurant is my hubby's and my go-to-cafe for a good meal (breakfast, lunch, or dinner) at a reasonable price. The waitress' know us very well and friendly.

Don't go here hungry, in fact, don't go here at all! Awful! Our first and LAST visit. Should've known something was wrong when we entered and the A/C wasn't working. Dinner salad, ice water was good, the end. Baked potato was brown, discolored, at least a day old. Vegetable of the day was some soggy concoction of green beans onions and tomatoes, again tasteless. BBQ pork ribs not fresh, rubbery, chewy. I just hate being hungry, trying a new restaurant and having a meal like this.DEFINITELY do NOT recommend.

The customers service and food was horrid, never gonna waste my time here again
